I am a substitute teacher who is around students of all ages and understands the struggles of the curriculum which I see everyday. I have worked in schools all over Bergen County and have worked in Jersey City as well. I know first hand what is being asked and expected of these kids in not only the classroom, but in their future career endeavors. Tutoring for me is much for than achieving a grade or score- but an opportunity to give students the confidence they will need to succeed in making their dreams a reality. I graduated college with a 3.8 GPA. I studied all forms of history/Social studies including American history, world history, foreign affairs, political sciences, government, geography and civics. I also can help tremendously with critical reading skills/comprehension and writing. I have won essay contests in the past and can help your child formulate and improve their writing skills/editing process. I want to be a tutor because I myself used tutoring services and it has helped me tremendously so I can relate to your child. Also- I thrive on being a part of the education field and this is a way I can give back doing what I love to do.
